Why Meditate
I could identify many reasons why someone may want to meditate. For instance, there are studies that prove meditation leads to lowered blood pressure, less stress, and a happier life. There are testimonials that meditation provides increased energy, personal power, and concentration. But the real reason you will or will not begin a meditation practice is this: you either have to or you don't. Let me explain.
There is much more to this world than meets our eyes. We instinctively, intuitively feel other dimensions of light, truth, magic, beauty just outside the reach of what we can immediately access. We remember it from past life knowledge, we know it from current life experience. We simply know. Or, we want to know. Perhaps, we want to remember.
Meditation is the training that gains you access to those other worlds. It's true, it takes work, but there are worlds upon worlds right in front of you, waiting for you to open your "other" eyes. And we can journey there together.
